The couturier's gestures reveal what remains invisible: lace is transformed, velvet is transfigured, compressed fabrics become new emotions. More than an exploration of form, this is a true alchemy in which matter reveals a presence that sight alone cannot perceive.

Fabrics hold memories. We give them a fragrance.

Throughout his creations, Frank Sorbier shapes, transforms and reveals textiles, giving birth to a singular textile language in which every fabric acquires a new presence, a memory, an emotion and an identity.

From this very vision, Sorbier Parfums emerged. As an obvious continuation.

Bound by a lifelong friendship and a shared sensitivity to materials, Frank Sorbier and perfumer Olivier Perault have developed a singular olfactory writing.

Together, they extend the world of Haute Couture through another language, where fabrics become fragrances without ever losing their memory.

It is neither about translating a silhouette nor reproducing its materials, but about extending its spirit and its imprint through fragrance.

The Chapitres

The Chapitres compose the Bibliothèque olfactive of Sorbier Parfums, an evolving collection born from the Haute Couture collections of Frank Sorbier.

Each Chapitre is born from the heart of a collection before extending its spirit, its imprint and its emotion through the language of fragrance. It does not translate a garment. It carries forward the same creative vision through a singular olfactory writing.

Season after season, every new Haute Couture collection gives birth to a new Chapitre. Together, they form a living library where each olfactory creation preserves the memory of a collection while entering into dialogue with those that came before it.

Conceived as the volumes of a single narrative, the Chapitres extend the presence of Haute Couture far beyond the runway. They preserve its living memory and offer it a new expression through fragrance.

Traditionally placed inside a book, an Ex-Libris is the mark that identifies its owner. More than a signature, it expresses a personal bond between a reader and a work, marking the beginning of a story that unfolds page after page.

Sorbier Parfums adopts this editorial tradition to name the first edition case of its Bibliothèque olfactive.

Bringing together the first three Chapitres in travel size, the Ex-Libris Edition Case is not conceived as a discovery set, but as the first entry into an evolving collection, where each olfactory writing naturally takes its place alongside those that will follow.

Conceived as a true rite of passage, it invites each reader to open the first pages of the Bibliothèque olfactive,
to discover three singular olfactory interpretations born from the Haute Couture collections of Frank Sorbier,
and to allow time to reveal the Chapitre that will accompany their own story.
